Karen Pearson is looking pink – in Nakuru, Kenya

by Mary-Anne Bartlett on September 10, 2013

Today the Art Safari group are leaving Nakuru National Park and heading for the Massai Mara.  When they arrived in Nakuru two prides of lions greeted them – with cubs.  The days that followed included landscapes and wildlife sketching in one of Kenya’s prettiest parks.  The flamingos are so hard to paint, as one bird merges into another in a haze of pink movement.  I think Karen must have been sitting on the roof of the land rover for this perspective.
