Art Safari’s creative adventures in Great Britain to:    Holy Island 19th to 23rd August 2013

Summer days sketching and painting in Northumberland. We explore Holy Island with our sketchbooks, studying Lindisfarne Priory, home of St Cuthbert – a place of serenity. Panoramic views, birdilfe and wildlife will captivate us. Come and develop your own personal style and hone your artistic techniques with Mary-Anne offering exercises and plenty of one to one tuition.

We will start each day in the village of Beal. Beal offers B & B accommodation, a campsite and holiday cottages.

Footprints in the sand Land and seascapes on the North Norfolk Coast, along the beaches of Wells, Brancaster and Holkham Bay based from Wells-next-the-sea. 3 days  -   July 2014 dates tbc

Come and sketch the sweeping sands and dunes of Holkham Bay add a splash of colour with the quirky collection of elevated Beach Huts nestling into the Pine Woods at Wells.  We’ll be visiting some gems on the East Anglian coast and sampling some local delicacies, excellent cheeses, chutneys and fresh seafood not too forget the locally brewed tipples too!   One day will be spent painting and picnicking from our very own Beach Hut base.  

Seagulls and samphire Land, river and seascapes on the Rivers Deben, Alde and the Suffolk Heritage Coast, based from Woodbridge 3 days  July 2014 dates tbc

A mini-break in sunny Suffolk!  Discover vast skies and whispering reed beds, paint Mary-Anne’s home rivers and coast in Suffolk on this intensive two days painting.  The workshop is based in a Suffolk barn in Woodbridge from which we go on excursions into the wilds of the Rivers Deben, Alde and Heritage Coast.
