Corona Advice Update from Art Safari Director Mary-Anne Bartlett: “As someone who shares our love of painting and travel, I’m sure you are as concerned as we are about Covid-19 Corona.  I hope that it will not touch any of us.  Nor do we want it to curtail our dreams and plans.  The Art Safari family may be a big one, but each person is very important to us, wherever you are in the world you are.  Your health, safety and well-being is a priority.  We are monitoring the statements by the Foreign Office and from the World Health Organization.  We’re in touch with all the countries we operate in and we know that the world’s art and travel industries are on high alert. Please be aware that some of our plans may need to be rescheduled – not cancelled. We are continuing to take bookings for our Art Safari tours and workshops and are offering flexible booking terms. We’re also racing to get 2021 tours ready for you to look at 🙂 and we will also introduce some online learning to keep us busy while we take this necessary pause in travel. Keep calm, wash your hands and carry on painting.”

Painting opportunities available soon (please keep in mind dates may be flexible in case we need to postpone): ‘Darwin’s Island‘ in Galapagos from 13 – 25 May 2020… we have a couple of places for you and your roommate!  The Galapagos is one of our favourite places to paint – it’s warm, isolated, full of awesome wildlife… and painting outdoors there is a dream.

Art Safari – unique wildlife, wilderness & city painting holidays

Art Safari is for all those inspired to paint by travel.  Your travel sketchbooks become visual diaries, full of the wonders of the world.

Art Safari’s holidays are for creative explorers: artists, writers, photographers and non-painters.  Whether travelling on your own or not, you are welcomed into a like-minded group.  Be assured of inspiration, good food, comfort and style.  Photographers and non-painting partners will experience new ways of seeing as well as enjoying all the benefits of relaxed wildlife viewing and personal safari guiding – brilliant for photography, bird watching and learning more about nature.

Whether you are a beginner, or you are already an experienced artist, Art Safari’s professional team of tutors and guides will encourage you to sit, look, sketch, observe, soak up the atmosphere and produce many sketches and paintings of your new environment.
